Karam Singh Bhoian’s Peaceful Struggle Completes 26 Days; Administration Still Defends Demolishers

TARN TARAN SAHIB, Punjab—The peaceful sit-in-strike of Karam Singh Bhoian seeking indictment of the demolishers of Gurdwara Sri Tarn Tara Sahib’s Darshani Deodi today completed 26 days but still no action has been taken against the SGPC officials and the Kaar Sewa sect men. Notably, Karam Singh Bhoian had started this sit-in-strike April 1.

Speaking to Sikh24, Karam Singh Bhoian informed that no uncertainty has been left about the SGPC’s role in demolishing the historic Darshani Deodi of Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib. “SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal, general secretary Gurbachan Singh Karmuwala and member Khushwinder Singh Bhatia should be indicted under criminal charges along with Baba Jagtar Singh,” he demanded.

Amrik Singh Nangal, Jajbir Singh Nangal, Balbir Singh Mundapind, Santokh Singh, Kulwant Singh, Gursahib Singh, Jagmeet Singh, Lakhbir Singh, Ranjit Singh, Resham Singh, Tarsem Singh, Bapu Labh Singh, Baba Gurdeep Singh, Bapu Gurbakhsh Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
