Sukhpal Khaira Resigns from Punjab Assembly

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Punjab Ekta Party head Sukhpal Singh Khaira, who is contesting parliamentary elections from Bathinda constituency, has resigned from the Punjab assembly. Notably, Sukhpal Singh Khaira has been heading Bholath assembly constituency since March-2017.

Interacting with media at Tarn Taran Sahib on April 25, Sukhpal Khaira informed that he has sent his resignation to the Punjab assembly speaker Rana KP Singh. “I have submitted my resignation before filing nominations from Bathinda constituency,” he said.
