CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Former Indian diplomat Hardeep Singh Puri, who is contesting parliamentary elections from the Amritsar seat on SAD-BJP alliance’s ticket, paid obeisance at sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib on April 25. He was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Laxmi Puri on this occasion.
Local BJP leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, former mayor Bakshi Ram Arora and others, including Akali Jatha Amritsar City President Gurpartap Singh Tikha, were also present with him on this eve.
Later, he was honored by the SGPC members Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta, Bhai Ram Singh, Bhagwant Singh Sialka and Harjap Singh Sultanwind, Information Officer Jaswinder Singh Jassi and Additional Manager Rajinder Singh Ruby at the Information Center of Sri Harmandir Sahib.
