JALANDHAR, Punjab—In an attempt to provoke Sikh sentiments, members of the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat took out a march in Jalandhar on October 11. Several members of the right-wing Hindu organization were wearing kirpans similar to the kakkar worn by the Sikhs. The kirpans were worn inside gatre by the RSS terrorists who were leading the march.
The gatras were looking much like the symbol of Sikh faith ‘Gatra & Kirpan’ that outraged the local Sikh masses. Balwinder Singh from Model Town told Sikh24, “We were speechless when we saw RSS members carry out their march. They had large number of followers. We feel many members came from outside of Punjab to assist with the march.”
“We have asked the Jalandhar police to register a case against the RSS leaders under section 295-A for hurting religious sentiments of the Sikh community. We don’t care if they want to carry out processions, however, they have no right to wear our religious articles,” Singh said.
While several jeeps and cars were part of the procession, many of the marchers also rode motorcycles holding right-wing Hindu flags. The march started from the ‘Dussehra’ ground of Model House in Jalandhar. Similar to this march, three other marches were also carried out in Jalandhar on the same day.
Strongly condemning the RSS’ bid to hurt Sikh sentiments, Chief Organizing Secretary of Youth Akali Dal Amritsar Bhai Papalpreet Singh said, “pro-Hindutva body RSS wants to disturb communal harmony in the state. RSS was trying by tooth & nail to oppress minorities within India.”
“Such activities by Hindu activists make us realize our enslaved condition in India but unfortunately we are seeking justice instead of freedom,” he added.
RSS agents go and do your own thing – stop interfering with other religions one day you will get burnt! You are really making a mockery of Sikhi which is nothing but about truth….. not that you have understood since Guru Nanak’s times you will never learn.
Just go and worship your own stones and devtas…
We do not have any objection to have any kind of weapon, the Sri Sahib with gatra is part of sikh religion, here their attention is bad, they know why they are doing?

Though it may be an uncomfortable truth the Kirpan does not belong to the Sikhs and throughout history across the world different religious and secular organisations have sought to wear variations of Kirpans or what some call ‘daggers’. The Scots for example the sgian-dubh which is a small, single-edged knife. Originally it was used for eating and preparing food or more general day-to-day uses such as cutting material and protection, but it is now worn as part of traditional Scottish dress tucked into the top of the kilt hose with only the upper portion of the hilt visible. Similarly, we see the Khanjar dagger, not too dissimilar to the Sikh kirpan being worn by the Ottomans and Persians. Then we have the ‘punch dagger’ which originated in southern India where its original name was ‘kattari’ before being altered to ‘katar’ by the British in the north. This list is endless…! And so the general point here is that possession of a dagger weapon is not unique and therefore cannot be the exclusive property of any one faith or indeed individual. All people have the right to bear arms as long as they are not used in any illegal manner.
That said, if we come to the pathetic antics of the so called RSS Shiv Sena ‘warriors’, clearly they are seeking to confuse Sikhs by making them think that the kirpan is part of the Hindu faith tradition. In reality, there is no ‘Hindu’ faith as such and the world ‘Hindu’ originated from the term ‘sindhu’ denoting the civilisations of the indus valley region. Hinduism is a modern term and the idea of a Hindu national identity or Hindutva is the creation of the RSS and its off shoots. And so their real motive is to do the dirty work of the ruling class of India and they have little regard for the vast majority of ‘Indians’ who would like to rid themselves of this menace.
The reason they are targeting Sikhs through a policy of creating confusion and infiltration is because they know our history better than us. They know we are revolutionaries, that we reject all kinds of social divisions and superstitions, that we are rational and that we are not scared of dying for these principles. The RSS is seeking to build a new ‘hindu’ empire the region in the world that lies south of the great Himalayan mountain range. They are seeking to mimic the British Colonialists, but they will spectacularly fail. India is a fiction, as is Pakistan and Bangladesh; the sooner we rid ourselves of these decrepit corrupt entities the better. Let the peoples and nations (the Panjabi’s, Kashmiris, Bengalis’ the Tamils, The Sindhis, The Baluchis, The Marathas, etc…. of this region reclaim their lands taken by the British and their Indian cronies who today wrap themselves in the saffron of the RSS. And the message I have for those mistaken Sikhs who have fallen for the RSS tactics and are embracing ‘Brahmin traditions’ of ritual worship, worship of god men/Sants, caste and race discrimination, hindu mythology, hindu calendar, hindu ritiuals and so on remember what Guru Gobind Singh Ji said, “jabh eh gaya bipran ki reet meh na karoo in kee partheet”
So, for those Sikhs who chose to reject shabad guru and the rationality of Guru Nanak (Read his many sakhis, such as the encounter in Hardwar and ritual throwing of water) and prefer to embrace mythology, superstition, magic, miracles, guru dam and object worship, please go and join your brothers in the RSS and let the rest of get on with practicing living Sikhi, a Sikhi that is about truth and truthful actions, is about non discrimination, about universal freedom and brotherhood, is about tearing down aimless rituals and customs as instructed by Gurbani.
There are many religions on Earth from Islam,Christianity, Jews, Buddhists, Sikhs .
Hindus are also a religion like them who worship lord Ram and Krishna and the holy books of Geeta and Ramayana.
They have everything artificial, on TV they made a person Ram & their leaders even Modi worshipped that man. So do not be angry just feel sorry for them as their leaders are fooling them.
These are clowns and jokers called Hundus and are not Hindus.. Good Hindus don’t do mockery.
It’s not Hindu, it is Brahmanical soch which is even making fool of hindus by class system. Hindu word in incorrect pronunciation of Sindu, people living in Sind area. He is telling people of India that you are Hindu and by making fool of them he is ruling. A donkey can not become lion by wearing lion’s attire. Let the elections pass, because they just want to create disturbance in Panjab.

The Hindus are an evil and pathetic society of people. With their horrid caste system, nonsensical superstitions, chaotic number of wierd gds, animal sacrifices, child sacrifices, wife sacrifices, their evil Manusrimiti. These evil, stupid Hindus who oppress fellow hundreds of millions of Hindus, are ring to provoke Lion nation of Sikhs, by mockingly wearing their glorious attire. It simply doesn’t suit the ugly image of these RSS Hindus. This is not a racist rant. It ispkainly n simply telling a truth about this centuries old sham called Hinduism. It’s power focussed protagonists provoke others with their poison. The rise of revolutionary sikhi, as a direct challenge n brave confrontation to the wholesale evil of hi duism n Hindu-dom, continues to bedevilled and antagonise our tense n incompatible relationship.
India is a secular country.
