354th Parkash Purab: Religious procession taken out in Patna

PATNA, Bihar—On January 1, a religious procession was taken out in Patna in commemoration of the 354th Parkash Purab of tenth Sikh master Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Beginning from Gurdwara Sri Gaooghat under the patronage of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, it concluded at Takht Sri Harmandir Patna Sahib during the evening hours.

Sikh sangat created a spiritual environment in this religious procession by reciting Gurbani in melodious tones. Students from various schools also participated in this religious procession beside Band Masters.

Nihang Singhs amazed the spectators with their martial skills. Camels, Horses and Elephants also grabbed attention of spectators.

Showering of flower petals in this spiritual environment made it more blissful. A lot of langars were organized in Patna on this occasion.
