CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Addressing a gathering in Moga on May 9, the SAD president Sukhbir Badal accused the Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh of using the sacrilege issue to hide his administrative failures. He said that Captain doesn’t have courage to contest election on the basis of his performance so he has resorted to cheap tactics.
“He is running away from the core issues of development, governance and welfare of the people,” said Sukhbir Badal while claiming that he had full faith in divine justice and has prayed that the Almighty may wipe out those indulged in the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
As usual, Sukhbir Badal made big promises like transforming the face of rural Punjab on this occasion.
It can’t be denied that the Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has just used the sacrilege issue and the police firing incidents to corner the Badals. Despite the availability of direct evidences against the SAD leaders and killer police cops, no guilty culprit has been brought to justice till date.
