Mand and Daduwal Join Hands; Appeals Common Masses Not to Cast Votes to Badals

BATHINDA, Punjab—Sidelining their differences, the Sarbat Khalsa appointed Takht Jathedars Bhai Dhian Singh Mand and Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal have come together. The duo Jathedars participated in a march taken out in Bathinda on May 8 and urged the general public to cast votes against the Badals.

It may be recalled here that Jathedar Daduwal had accused Jathedar Mand of operating the Bargari agitation in a dictatorial style. He had also accused him of taking the decision of concluding the Bargari agitation at his own without taking the Sikh masses into confidence.

“The Badals have not been arrested and there has been no fresh legal action against the Sirsa cult chief, so you cannot say that the Bargari agitation concluded successfully,” Jathedar Daduwal had said at that time.
