Delhi High Court Rejects Sajjan Kumar’s Plea Seeking Extension in Time to Surrender

NEW DELHI, India—The Delhi High Court has rejected Sajjan Kumar’s plea seeking extension in time to surrender till January 31. Notably, Sajjan Kumar had yesterday moved a plea before the Delhi High Court demanding extension in time to surrender while excusing that he has to settle matters pertaining to his property as he has three children and eight grandchildren.

“Sajjan Kumar’s application for extension of time to surrender is dismissed by High Court” Advocate HS Phoolka tweeted.

It may be recalled here that Sajjan Kumar was imprisoned for life by the Delhi High Court on December 17 in a case pertaining to brutal killing of five members of a Sikh family in the Raj Nagar of Delhi’s cantonment area on November 1, 1984. The Court had asked him to surrender before the authorities on December 31.

  1. Why does’s he needs to surrender. This dog should have not let out after the verdict and put into prison straight away.
Who does he think he is asking the courts for another month of freedom, which he has had for last 34 years. He should had been hanged had he not been a Hindu and a member of CONGRESS PARTY, like they’ve hanged SIKH and other minorities for lesser offences.
