Mentally Challenged Minor Sikh Girl Raped in Nankana Sahib; Rapists Arrested

LAHORE, Punjab—A 15 years old mentally challenged Sikh girl was reportedly raped by two members of a “Rescue 1122” team in Nankana Sahib (Pakistan) on October 26. It is learnt that the Nankana Sahib’s city police have arrested the duo rapists namely Ahsan Ali and Shameen Haider who had gone absconding after committing this heinous crime.

Reliable sources have informed that the victim Sikh girl had gone missing on October 26 after which the family member started searching for her. At around 1:30 am, the family members of the girl found a Rescue 1122 ambulance parked by the roadside for a long time which looked suspicious. On probing further, the family members found both the rapists committing rape with their daughter. The duo culprits ran from the spot after throwing the victim girl out of the ambulance.

An FIR in this concern was lodged by the family members in the local police station of Nankana Sahib on October 27.

“Abuse of vulnerable citizens will not be tolerated. Was forwarded a case of abuse of a differently-abled Sikh girl in Nankana Sahib. FIR has been registered and the SHO informed us they have arrested two persons in the case” Shireen Mazari wrote from his twitter account who heads the Human Rights Ministry of Pakistan.  

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Nankana Sahib have also seized the ambulance in which the victim Sikh girl was raped.
