549th Birthday Celebrations: Indian Sikh Pilgrims Likely to Depart for Nankana Sahib on November 21

:dateline:The 549th birthday of first Sikh master Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji will be celebrated in Pakistan on November 23. Sri Akhand Path Sahib in this concern will be laid at Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib on November 21 which will be culminated on November 23.

Sharing the development with media, the Additional Secretary of Pakistan�s Evacuee Trust Property Board Mr. Tariq Wazir informed that the Sikh pilgrims will be granted visas by the worldwide Pakistani consulates for 10 days from November 21 to November 30. He added that the Police administration has issued orders banning the entry of Muslim Pakistani citizens into the Sikh shrines from November 21 to November 30. �The Indian Sikh pilgrims, who will arrive at the Wagah railway station on November 21, will be en-routed to Sri Nankana Sahib immediately� he added.

A religious procession will be taken out in Sri Nankana Sahib on November 23 following the culmination of Sri Akhand Path Sahib. The Indian Sikh pilgrims will return back on November 30 after paying obeisance at various Sikh shrines in Pakistan.�
