US Ambassador Kenneth I. Juster Pays Obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Mr. Kenneth Ian Juster, the USA’s ambassador to India, paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib on October 24. He offered prayers at the holiest Sikh shrine for the welfare of entire humanity.

On his arrival into the sanctum sanctorum, he was warmly welcomed by the SGP officials. He was apprised of the history of sacred Sikh shrine while traversing through its periphery by the Information Officer S. Amritpal Singh.

After paying obeisance inside the sanctum sanctorum, Mr. Kenneth Ian Juster performed volunteer service of rolling wheat loafs in the world’s largest community kitchen.  

Registering his experiences in the visitor book at information office, Mr. Kenneth Ian Juster termed his pilgrimage as memorable. “I feel blessed on having glimpses of an attractive and splendid place Sri Harmandir Sahib” he wrote while thanking the SGPC also.

At last, he was honored with “Siropao” (robe of honor), a golden model of Sri Harmandir Sahib and a set of religious books.
