Domino Effect: DSGMC General Secretary Manjinder Sirsa Also Resigns

NEW DELHI, India—The dominance of domino effect over the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) has started becoming visible as the senior Akali leaders are continuously resigning from their posts. The day by day exit of senior Akali leaders from the party is proving that the Akali Dal’s move of exonerating Gurmeet Ram Rahim is ultimately proving fatal for the party.

A day after the resignation of veteran Akali leader Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, the DSGMC’s general secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa today resigned from his post. It is learnt that Sirsa has resigned due to his ongoing clash with DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the SAD president Sukhbir Badal immediately moved to Delhi after Sirsa’s resignation. Sources have informed that he is conducting meetings with DSGMC members to sort out the clash between the two leaders.
