26th Martyrdom Anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Gurmukh Singh Nagoke Observed

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The 26th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Gurmukh Singh Nagoke was today observed with full enthusiasm at Gurdwara Baba Dalla of village Nagoke (District: Tarn Taran). Notably, Shaheed Bhai Gurmukh Singh Nagoke had attained martyrdom on October 3, 1992 while battling against the oppressive Indian regime.

Following the culmination of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Gursewak Singh Padhri addressed the religious discourse to the present Sikh devotees. Bhai Gagandeep Singh Bhullar acted as a stage secretary in the program.

Renowned Sikh activists Bhai Manjit Singh Jhabal, Bhai Parwinder Singh Khalsa, Bhai Surinder Singh Talibpura, Bhai Sarabjit Singh Ghuman etc. shed light on the life of Shaheed Bhai Gurmukh Singh Nagoke while addressing the gathering.  

Bibi Tejbir Kaur, daughter of Shaheed Bhai Gurmukh Singh Nagoke, and families of other Sikh martyrs were honored with Siropao (robe of honor) on this occasion.
