TARN TARAN SAHIB, Punjab—Sikh political prisoner Bhai Narain Singh Chaura was yesterday presented in the session court of Tarn Taran in relation to a case of terrorism registered against him. The case dates back to 2013 and was registered by the Vairowal village (Khadoor Sahib) police station.
After being presented in the court, he was again sent back to the Amritsar jail. Team members of the charitable organization ‘Sikh Relief’ were present on this occasion to extend their support to Bhai Narain Singh Chaura. The Court has deferred the next hearing October 12, 2015.
It may be recalled that Bhai Narain Singh Chaura was arrested by the Tarn Taran police from village Jalalabad of Khadoor Sahib on February 26, 2013. At that time, he was alleged to be absconding in about a dozen cases.
