NEW DELHI—After approval from Kejriwal Government, Punjab has given green light to Prof. Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar’s transfer to Amritsar from Delhi. A no objection certificate was issued by Sanjay Kumar, principal secretary of jails.
A high level meeting was held between Parkash Badal, state officials and members of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa sangarsh committee in which the Punjab Chief Minister had promised to seek transfer of Prof. Davinderpal Singh Bhullar to Punjab.
Prof. Davinderpal Singh Bhullar has been suffering from schizophrenia. Once transferred to Amristar, he would receive treatment locally.
