:datelines:Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa, a human rights activist from USA, is continuously losing weight despite being force fed by the police.
Due to continued worsening of his health, his supporters have expressed distress over the fact that the doctors too are not providing the needed medical attention.
Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa was arrested last month on February 26th. Tubes for force feeding were stitched to his nose and forehead; however despite government’s alleged claim of ensuring his well-being, he is continuously losing weight whilst being imprisoned at the hospital.
In addition, Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is suffering from diarrhea and doctors have not provided any medical assistance so far. He’s having to go to bathroom multiple times, and in the last week, Bapu Ji fell down twice due to weakness in his body.
Family has expressed concern that when they were present with Bapu Ji at the hospital, his situation was much better. However since his arrest, his condition has only worsened despite the force feeding.
