AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) organized a conference in Fatehgarh Sahib to give tribute to the incomparable martyrdom of Shaheed Baba Jorawar Singh, Shaheed Baba Fateh Singh, Shaheed Mata Gujar Kaur Ji and Baba Moti Moti Singh Mehra Ji. While addressing thousands of devotees during the conference, S. Mann said that the ultimate solution of all Sikh issues is Khalistan.
He appreciated the struggle commenced by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa for the release of Sikh detainees. He urged all the Sikh organizations to unite on a common platform to make sure the permanent release of Sikh detainees.
S. Mann said that Sikh community is a distinct community and struggling for Khalistan is the duty of every Sikh. He said that RSS is dominating in Punjab day by day and Badal Dal has become their hand tool in this task. He said that if Indian Prime Minister Modi can take the road path from China for Kailash Mansarovar Lake, then why doesn’t he commence suitable steps for making Gurdwara Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib traversable to the Sikh community.
Simranjit Singh Mann also released the Nanakshahi Calendar of 2003 during conference. He said that the Sikh community is distinct from it origination. But the communal Hindu organizations like RSS, VHP, BJP etc. are eager to merge it into Hinduism by implementing the Bikrami Calendar on the Sikh community. He said that it is sad that SGPC, Sant Samaj, Damdami Taksal, and Jathedar sahibans are very eager to implement this Bikrami Calendar on the Sikh community. He said that they will never let it happen. S. Mann appreciated the stand of Jathedar Balwant Singh Nadgarh in favor of Nanakshahi Calendar and Khalistan. S. Mann also appreciated the kind initiative of Pakistan Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee, American Sikh Gurdwara Communication Committee and other international organizations that implemented the Nanakshahi Calendar.
