AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh said that punishment for the accused in the Sikh genocide will be the real justice for victims.
He appreciated the announcement of giving Rs. 500000/- to each family of victims of the genocide by the Modi Government, saying that this is the first time in the last year that the Central government will be taking care of victims of the Sikh genocide. But punishing the accused leaders of Congress, who continue to enjoy luxury in the patronage of Congress, will be the real justice for victims.
Leader of United Sikh Movement Bhai Mohkam Singh, Bhai RP Singh of Akhand Kirtani Jatha , spokesman of Dal Khalsa Bhai Kanwarpal Singh, President of AISSF and co-ordinator of ‘Sikhs For Justice’ in India Bhai Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad stated in a joint statement that the Sikh community wants justice, not money.
