Robin Singh said that the Sikh genocide organized after the assassination of Indira Gandhi was a result of political pressure and the role of police at that time was also negative. He said that senior leaders of Congress are responsible for this genocide. So, they should be punished.
Chandigarh Literature Festival was organized and inaugurated by the Adab Foundation. Famous writers and critics participated in this festival. A spokesman informed that an in-depth discussion will be performed on 14 selected books in this Festival. The Festival was inaugurated with a panel discussion on ‘30 Years of Sikh Genocide’. It is noteworthy that many clues have been presented by intellectuals that Operation Blue Star was not necessary, because there were many other ways to sort out this issue.
