:dateline:Gurdwara Hemkunt Sahib Board Chairperson, N.S.Bindra, has asked pilgrims to come by 4-wheelars instead of 2�wheelars. �Bindra has notified Sikh24 that roads to shrine are still damaged after the disaster in June of last year.
On May�25th 2014, the first day of re-opening of the shrine, Gyani Jassa Singh Head Granthi of Gurudwara Shri Guru Hemkunt sahib had offered first ardas. �Approximately 3,000 Sikh pilgrims visited the shrine on first day, from all parts of the country.
Gurdawara Board has also requested�all Sikh Sangat to complete a General Registration at Gurudwara Hemkunt Trust Rishikesh Uttarakhand, for safety reasons.
