MUKATSAR SAHIB, Punjab—On the historical eve of the ‘maaghi’ festival at Sri Mukatsar Sahib, Sikh youth peacefully pasted the poster of ‘Khalistan’ on the walls in Sri Mukatsar Sahib. This poster was removed by the police under the leadership of Inspector ranked Police Official.
It is notable that the Supreme Court of India has given the right to peacefully preach in favor of Khalistan. One can keep posters of Khalistan, print literature in favor of Khalistan and can partake in any type of preachment in favor of Khalistan peacefully. However, police have often filed cases against innocent Sikh youth who preach in favor of Khalistan.
