DSGMC offers Covid-19 Care Centers with 850 beds to Delhi government

NEW DELHI, India—Keeping in view the rising number of coronavirus cases in Delhi, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has come forward to help the Delhi government by setting up Covid-19 Care Centers with 850 beds at different locations. The DSGMC has announced to offer best medical care, oxygen and laboratory services to the coronavirus patients who will be kept in this Covid-19 Care Centers.

DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa has written a letter to the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal seeking permission in this regard.

“In view of exponential surge in COVID-19 patient, DSGMC wants to create Covid-19 Care Centers on its premises with the capacity of 850 beds at various locations in Delhi as per the list attached. DSGMC will take care of the breakfast, all meals, drinking water, general medicines, oxygen, haematological and biochemistry laboratory services for the admitted patients,” Sirsa wrote in the letter addressed to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Sirsa has written in the letter that the admitted patients can be transferred to Covid-19 hospitals if their condition becomes critical.
