SGPC goes online to teach Gurbani, Sikh History and Rehat Maryada to students

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Amid unfavorable circumstances due to coronavirus pandemic, the religious preachment wing of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has started online classes to teach Gurbani, Sikh history and Rehat Maryada (code of conduct). It is learnt that more than 10,000 students are taking benefit of these online classes being given by 276 preachers.

Sharing the development with media, SGPC’s secretary Manjit Singh Batth informed that the timing of these online classes has been fixed from 6 am and 7.30 am. “More than 10,000 students from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar, J&K, and Gujarat are taking benefit of these online classes,” he said while adding that these classes are totally free of cost.
