CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The domes of newly constructed part of Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib today got detached from the base due to high speed winds blowing across the region due to shift in weather.
The available pictures speak a lot about the make-up of these domes. Usually, these domes are made up of concrete in Gurdwaras and are not left hollow from inside, but these domes appear light weighted due to use of some other material.
Looks like cheap job compromising on quality. It is only five months when Newly built Kartarpur Gurudwara was opened. I hope they get it fixed properly and inspect rest of complex also.
