India locked down for 21 days due to coronavirus outbreak

NEW DELHI, India—To curb community spread of coronavirus, the Indian PM Narendra Modi has announced to lockdown entire India for the next 21 days. The decision has been taken anticipating the potential loss India might face if this pandemic succeeded exploding like other countries.  

Addressing the Indian public, Narendra Modi said that the coronavirus has made many powerful countries helpless and the challenges are increasing despite all efforts.

He further said that social distancing is required for every citizen of including him and if we don’t follow it right now then the India will have to pay heavy price.

“From 12pm tonight there will be complete lockdown in the entire country. This lockdown is in a way a curfew and would be more stringent than Janata curfew,” he said.

 “One step outside can make way for coronavirus into your house. With folded hands, I appeal to people not to go out of their homes,” the PM said.
