CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Amid looming threat of coronavirus over India, the Punjab government has directed the state’s health department to become vigilant round the clock. The private hospitals have also been directed to setup flu corners.
Beside it, the Punjab government has also issued a strict warning that anyone found guilty of spreading misinformation or rumor about coronavirus will be made feel the full force of law.
The Punjab government has also made it clear that only Deputy Commissioners will have authority to share information related to coronavirus patients.
