:dateline:Controversial Punjab singer Shubhdeep Singh aka Sidhu Moosewala today appeared before the supreme Sikh throne Sri Akal Takht Sahib and tendered an apology for misusing the name of great Sikh woman warrior Mai Bhago Ji in his song. Notably, Sidhu Moosewala had used Mai Bhago�s name to hail girl an apostate girl in a song belonging to a new Punjabi movie named �Ardab Mutiyaran�.
After appearing before Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Sidhu Moosewala said that he was ready punishment by the Akal Takht.
It may be recalled here that a sharp outrage had erupted among Sikh masses after hearing this song as a modernized apostate girl was portrayed as a descendant of Mata Bhag Kaur in this song. Furthermore, the song also dubbed the same character of the girl as a gun of Jeona Morh.
At that time, Sidhu Moosewala had shared an apologizing video while claiming innocence. He had claimed that he didn�t do it intentionally so he should be forgiven.
