:dateline:56 years old Sikh businessman Ninder Singh Johal, who lives in West Midlands county of England, has been appointed as a deputy lieutenant of his constituency. He holds an MBA degree from the Aston University and is renowned for his contribution in music and the Punjabi dance �Bhangra�.
The West Midlands is a metropolitan county in western-central England with an estimated population of 2,808,356, (according to 2014�s census) making it the second most populous county in England after Greater London.
Speaking to media, Ninder Singh said that it�s a matter of pride for him and this surprising achievement has also brought a lot of happiness to him. �I couldn�t realize the reality until I didn�t see myself in the dress of Deputy Lieutenant,� he said while adding that his religion has brought him to this height. �
