Indian Railways Start Special Trains for Takht Sri Hazur Sahib and Gurdwara Nanak Jhira Sahib

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Keeping in mind the sentiments of Sikh pilgrims, the Indian Railways has decided to run special trains for the holy Sikh shrines Takht Sri Hazur Sahib and Gurdwara Nanak Jhira Sahib. The Indian Railways has also prepared a specialized 7-day tour package to visit these two Sikh shrines situated in Maharashtra’s Nanded and Bidar city of Karnataka.

In view of the summer holidays in May, this pilgrimage has been chalked out by the Indian Railways, which will start from Amritsar on May 22 and will conclude on May 29. The first phase of the journey will complete at Nanded on May 24, from where the pilgrims will depart for Gurdwara Nanak Jhira Sahib during the night of May 25.

After reaching Bidar on the fifth day of pilgrimage, the pilgrims will leave for Amritsar on the sixth day.
