NHAI Removes Sign Boards Portraying Sri Harmandir Sahib as Golden Temple

:dateline:Latest updates reveal that the National Highways Authority of India has removed the controversial sign board from Majitha bye-pass of Amritsar which was portraying the central Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib as Golden Temple.

It is noteworthy here that the SGPC had registered its protest to the NHAI�s Project Director by writing a letter and had sought action against the elements responsible for making this huge mistake.

Sources have informed that the NHAI�s Project Director YPS Jadaun has written a letter to the concerned company in which he has directed the company to make amendment in the sign boards by consulting the SGPC.

On being approached by media, SGPC�s chief secretary Dr. Roop Singh informed that the concerned company has sought correct wording by sending an email and a representative.
