Bhoian’s Peaceful Struggle Completes 21 Days; Yet No Action Against Demolishers of Darshani Deodi

TARN TARAN SAHIB, Punjab—The peaceful sit-in-strike of Sikh leader Karam Singh Bhoian today completed 21 days but still no ray of hope appears regarding indictment of the demolishers of Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib’s historic Darshani Deodi. Notably, Bhoian had started this peaceful sit-in-strike on April 1 seeking indictment of Kaar Sewa sect head Baba Jagtar Singh and SGPC officials under criminal charges.

Speaking to Sikh24, Karam Singh Bhoian said that with the grace of Guru Sahib he is in high morale and will continue his sit-in-strike till indictment of the demolishers of historic Darshani Deodi. “A prominent farmers’ body named Jamhuri Kisaan Sabha has extended support to our struggle,” he informed while adding that the Sikh masses in large numbers were paying visit to him to extend support.
