TARN TARAN, Punjab—The peaceful sit-in-strike started by the Sikh leader Karam Singh Bhoian seeking action against the SGPC and Kaar Sewa sect head Baba Jagtar Singh today completed four days. Notably, Bhoian had started this peaceful sit-in-strike on April 1 after demolishing of the upper part of Sri Tarn Taran Sahib’s Darshani Deodi.

Interacting with Sikh24, the SAD (Amritsar) leader Karam Singh Bhoian said that he won’t quit until the Administration doesn’t indict the Kaar Sewa sect head Baba Jagtar Singh and the SGPC officials under criminal charges. He informed that his supporters today submitted a memorandum to the Tarn Taran SSP, but the administration’s response was not up to the mark.

Reacting to the Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh’s direction to the SGPC for reconstructing the demolished domes of Darshani Deodi, Karam Singh Bhoian said that the Sikh sangat will not let the SGPC now touch this historic Darshani Deodi and will reconstruct the demolished part of Darshani Deodi itself.

Karam Singh Bhoian also reiterated his demand of judicial inquiry into the matter so that the responsible culprits could be brought to justice at the earliest.
