Indict Baba Jagtar Singh under Criminal Charges, demands Sikh leader Karam Singh Bhoian

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—S. Karam Singh Bhoian, the Tarn Taran district head of SAD (Amritsar), has demanded registration of a criminal case against the Kaar Sewa sect head Baba Jagtar Singh, the manager of Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib Partap Singh and the SGPC office bearers responsible for the demolition of the historic Darshani Deodi.

It is noteworthy here that Karam Singh Bhoian has started an indefinite strike outside the demolished Darshani Deodi of Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib.

Interacting with Sikh24, S. Karam Singh Bhoian said that the Darshani Deodi has been demolished under a highly deliberated plan and the Kaar Sewa sect as well as the SGPC very cleverly maintained their safe side. “A high level judicial probe is needed to unearth the hidden conspiracy behind the demolition of this Darshani Deodi,” he added.

It may be recalled here that around 400 hundred armed goons of the Kaar Sewa sect headed by Baba Jagtar Singh had destroyed the historic Darshani Deodi of Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib on March 30. Later, Baba Jagtar Singh had tendered an apology to the Sikh community while claiming of having permission to demolish the Darshani Deodi by recalling the resolution passed by the SGPC in July last year.

Although the SGPC’s executive committee had paused that resolution in October last year but the Manager as well as the Kaar Sewa sect succeeded in keeping their safe sides as they were not given any intimation in written.
