Indian Nationalists Radiating Communalism by Attacking Innocent Kashmiris, says Giani Harpreet Singh

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The SGPC appointed acting Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has come out in favor of innocent Kashmiri people and students being targeted by the Indian nationalists after the recent attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama. He has said that the attacks on the innocent Kashmiri people in various parts of India are as condemnable as the attack on the CRPF convoy in which 44 Indian soldiers had lost lives.

Interacting with the media on February 19, Giani Harpreet Singh said that the targeting of Kashmiris by the activists of some fanatic outfits is highly condemnable. He added that these outfits are radiating communalism which will intensify the problem.    

“Such hatred cannot be a solution to Kashmir problem. Instead, it will further alienate Kashmiris from us. We need to win hearts of the Kashmiri people. This is the only solution, which will pave the way for talks and end violence,” said Giani Harpreet Singh while replying to a query on the attack.
