CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Members of Muslim Federation of America, namely Dr. A.S Nakada, Dr. Razia, Sri Seeraj Thakore, Sri Ayub Khan, Sri Khutubuddin, Dr. Iqbal Ahmed etc. paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib on December 26. All of them had glimpses of the sanctum sanctorum with tranquility and expressed their devotion towards the holiest Sikh shrine while appreciating the charitable tasks being carried out by the Sikhs all over the India.
SGPC’s chief secretary Dr. Roop Singh and secretary Diljit Singh Bedi answered the queries of these Muslim members in simple and detailed way.
The Muslim members highly hailed the relief work being carried out by the Sikh organizations to help people during natural disasters. They said that the entire Muslim community is thankful to the Sikh community for helping the Muslim people in war ravaged Syria and Rohingiya Muslims.
The SGPC officials honored all of them with books related to Sikhism.
