Vaisakhi Celebrations in Pakistan: January 7 Set Deadline for Submitting Passport at SGPC Headquarters

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has sought submission of passports from those Sikh devotees who are aspirant of celebrating Vaisakhi at Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib in Pakistan. It is learnt that January 7, 2019 has been fixed as the deadline for submission of passports.

Sharing the development with Sikh24, SGPC’s spokesperson Diljit Singh Bedi informed that the Sikh devotees aspirant of celebrating Vaisakhi in Pakistan can submit their passports at SGPC headquarters in Amritsar Sahib after getting it attested by their constituency’s SGPC member. He added that the passport should be valid till 13-10-2019 and the aspirants must also submit photocopies of their identity proofs like Aadhar Card or Voter Card along with passport size photographs.
