CHANDIGARH, Punjab—SGPC member S. Karnail Singh Panjoli has appealed the entire Sikh community to boycott Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar if he doesn’t apologize before the Sikhs of village Dachar (Haryana). Notably, Khattar had cancelled his visit to Gurdwara Sahib of village Dachar on September 29 when the local Sikhs refused to accept his condition of removing the photo of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale from Gurdwara Sahib.
Panjoli has said that the Haryana CM Khattar has disrespected Sikh community by cancelling his visit to Gurdwara Sahib. He has appealed all the Indian citizens to take serious notice of Khattar’s attempt of keeping the Sikh community apart from “mainstream”.
“Khattar shouldn’t forget that the Sikhs of Haryana also played a vital role in letting him elected as a Chief Minister of Haryana. He should immediately apologize before the management committee of the concerned Gurdwara Sahib if he wants a robust communal harmony there” Panjoli said.
