BREAKING: Gutka Sahib Vandalized in Bathinda; Torn “Angs” Scattered in Streets

BATHINDA—While the entire Sikh community is struggling for bringing the culprits of sacrilege incidents occurred in 2015 to justice, the pace of sacrilege incidents is not getting slowdown in Punjab. As per an estimate, around 100 sacrilege incidents have occurred in Punjab even after the termination of SAD (Badal) led Punjab government in March-2017.  

A Gutka Sahib was reportedly found desecrated today in village Ram Nagar near Maur Mandi of District Bathinda. To hurt Sikh sentiments in a deliberated way, the desecrators scattered the torn ‘Angs’ of Gutka Sahib in the streets of village Ram Nagar.  

A sharp outrage is being observed among Sikh masses after the occurrence of this incident.

Sources have informed that the villagers have brought the incident to the notice of the Police by lodging a complaint, but no arrest was made by the Police till writing this report.
