Delhi High Court to Conduct Day to Day Hearing Against Sajjan Kumar from September 11 Onwards

NEW DELHI—Accepting the appeal of 1984 Sikh genocide victims and the probing agency CBI to conclude the cases against Sajjan Kumar at the earliest, the Delhi High Court has finally decided to conduct day to day hearing from September 11 onwards in a case challenging the acquittal of Congress leader Sajjan Kumar. Notably, Sajjan Kumar was acquitted by the lower court in a case pertaining to the murder of five members of a Sikh family in Raj Nagar area of Delhi Cantonment on November 1, 1984.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Delhi High Court has also sought reply from the Union government of India about the seizure of Jagdish Tytler’s passport, who is one of the key perpetrators of the 1984 Sikh genocide.

It is pertinent to note here that the perpetrators of the 1984 Sikh genocide like Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler are roaming freely in India even after 34 years of committing genocide of Sikhs.
