Hundreds of Sikh Activists Squall Anti-Captain Slogans at Bargari

BARGARI, Faridkot, Punjab—In an interesting development on August 4, hundreds of Sikh activists attending the agitation begun by acting Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Dhian Singh Mand at Bargari shouted slogans against the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. The development has left those critics of Bargari agitation totally amazed who have been accusing the agitation being backed by the Congress led Punjab government due to its soft attitude.

Interacting with media on this occasion, the Sarbat Khalsa appointed Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal said that the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was willing to not making public the report of Justice Ranjit Singh.

Bhai Daduwal alleged that the former Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Giani Gurmukh Singh has been also appointed the Head Granthi of Sri Akal Takht Sahib to bribe him for hiding the truths. He added that the brother of Giani Gurmukh Singh had already deposed the reality of pardon granted to the Sirsa cult chief before the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission.

An appeal was also made to the Punjab masses by the Takht Jathedars for planting maximum trees and fight against Drug menace prevailing in Punjab.
