MOGA—A Moga based Court of Additional Session Judge Charanjit Arora on July 13 framed the charges against arrested Sikh youths in a case registered in the Police station of Baghapurana in 2016. Arrested Sikh youths Bhai Hardeep Singh Shera, Bhai Ramandeep Singh Bagga, Bhai Dharminder Singh Gugni, Bhai Taljit Singh Jimmy, Bhai Jagjit Singh Jammu, Bhai Jagtar Singh Johal etc. were produced before the Court along with one another named Anil Kala.
Sharing the development with media, the defense counsel Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur informed that charges have been framed under section 25 of the Arms Act, 120B of Indian Penal Code and sections 17, 18, 19, 20 of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act against all the accused nominated in this case. He added that additional charges under sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC have been also framed against Bhai Hardeep Singh Shera.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Court has deferred next hearing onto July 26.
