Australian Cricketer Brett Lee Pays Obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib

AMRITSAR SAHIB—Renowned Australian fast bowler Brett Lee today paid obeisance at sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib. Dressed in Yellow colored Kurta and Turban, Brett Lee also performed ‘sewa’ (volunteer service) inside the Guru Ram Dass Langar for some time.

It is pertinent to note here that Brett Lee had arrived in the holy city Amritsar Sahib on May 28 to attend a program about deaf people held at Sri Guru Ram Dass University of Health Sciences.

While registering his experience in the visitor’s book, Brett Lee termed his journey beautiful and wrote a note of thanks in it.

Brett Lee was honored with a Siropao (robe of honor), a model of Sri Harmandir Sahib and a set of religious books by the SGPC members Amarjit Singh Chawla, Surjit Singh Bhittewind and Secretary S. Manjit Singh Bath at Information Office of the holiest Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib.
