PATIALA, Punjab—Sikh activist Bhai Bakhshish Singh reportedly suffered of brain hemorrhage five days back. He is now under medication at AP Trauma Centre situated in Chhoti Baradari of Patiala and is learnt to be totally unconscious at present.
It is pertinent to note here that 43 years old Bhai Bakhshish Singh (nicknamed Baba) remained imprisoned for over ten years in multiple Indian jails and was first time released on parole in 2014. The Punjab police had indicted him in 42 cases out of which he was convicted in four cases.
On being contacted by Sikh24, the family members of Bhai Bakhshish Singh informed that he has not been well from the last two weeks and was suffering of severe headache.
Brain hemorrhage is a type of stroke which bursts an artery in the brain resulting in localized bleeding in the surrounding tissues.
