SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar has expressed deep grief over this unfortunate incident.
Speaking with Sikh24 earlier today, Prof. Badungar said, “this is was very unfortunate that the Management Committees of Gurdawara Sahib are still not serious to take preventive measures to control.”
He appealed the Sikh masses to come forward to put control over such incidents.
“Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is our living Guru and ensuring security of our Guru Sahib’s saroop is our first and foremost responsibility,” he added.
Meanwhile, local activists have raised speculation that this could be a deliberate incident.
“Local sources state that the Haryana Police are attempting to pressurise the community into accepting the fire was as a result of an short circuit,” local activist Gurpreet Singh told Sikh24.
“The local Sikh community are adamant this was a deliberate act and are demanding an immediate investigation and arrest of the culprits.”
How stupid are you people?
Its clear why the Police are pressurising locals to declare the it was accidental and it is not acceptable . Hardeep I agree “do or die” This has to stop, the culprits are getting away with it scott free and the dictators are watching this.
Government is totally paralyzed or supporting the culprits.
These incidents should be stopped by all means.
Khalsa ji ” Do or Die “
