Sources close to Bolaria have informed that the duo leaders underwent a meeting with Congress’ General Secretary Harish Chaudhary and PPCC’s head Captain Amarinder Singh in New Delhi some days ago.

It may be recalled here that legislator Inderbir Singh Bolaria had rebelled against the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal against proposed installation Solid Waste Treatment Plant in his constituency. Bolaria was later suspended by the SAD’s President and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal from Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Education) post on the charges of violating party discipline.

Punjab Energy Development Agency’s Chairman Upkar Singh Sandhu had resigned from the Chairmanship as well as Presidency of SAD’s Amritsar (Urban) unit in protest against the inability of Punjab government to put control over serial desecration incidents occurred in October-2015.
