Justice Zora Singh Visits Faridkot Again To Continue Probe; No Word on Conclusion Yet

FARIDKOT, Punjab—Retired Justice Zora Singh, who is representing the one membered Investigation Commission appointed by the Punjab Government to probe Behbal Klan shooting incident, yesterday paid a visit to the site of the incident in Behbal Klan. He recorded statements from witnesses there and collected information about the incident.

Talking about the final report of incident, Justice Zora Singh said that the final report would be released only after probing the tragedy from all aspects. He refuted allegations of being under political pressure. Justice Zora Singh stated that he was recording the witnesses of both sides with much care. He added that the reality of the incident would be revealed after the publishing of the final report.

Refusing to comment on the Katju Commission, appointed by Sikh bodies to probe the tragedy, Justice Zora Singh said that he wouldn’t conclude under any kind of pressure. He appealed to local masses to convey information about the incident directly to him.
