AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Strongly reacting to the innocence expressed by Giani Gurmukh Singh (Badal appointed Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib) in facilitating pardon to Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal (appointed by Sarbat Khalsa 2015) has asked Giani Gurmukh Singh to openly specify details behind the pardon granted to Gurmeet Ram Rahim if he was not involved in it.
He said that Giani Gurmukh Singh can’t get rid of the accusations being levelled against him with the help of an unjustified statement. He said that Giani Gurmukh Singh ought to clarify the whole events behind the unrequested pardon granted to Sirsa Cult Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in order to full come clean with the sangat.
Condemning the allegations against the Panj Pyare by Giani Gurmukh Singh, Jathedar Baljit Singh said that every Sikh should keep in view the highest institution of Panj Pyare before uttering any words to malign them.
Commenting on the call given by the Panj Pyare to socially boycott the Badal appointed Jathedars, Jathedar Baljit Singh said that the Panj Pyare have acted in adherence with the resolutions passed in the Sarbat Khalsa 2015.
