Shocking Video Exposing the Radical Face of Rajiv Gandhi Released by Sikh activists

NEW DELHI, India—Former Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court S. Harwinder Singh Phoolka and General Secretary of BJP yesterday released a shocking video of Rajiv Gandhi in a press conference at New Delhi.

The video released is 31 years old in which Rajiv Gandhi, while addressing a gathering at Boat Club, said that whenever a big tree falls then earth shakes ( ‘’ਜਬ ਬੜਾ ਪੇੜ ਗਿਰਤਾ ਹੈ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਹਿਲਤੀ ਹੈ…’).

This is a reference to the wanton massacre of Sikhs during the genocide of November 1984, when the government issued voting lists, weapons and transport for convicted prisoners and criminals to be brought into Delhi for an organised pogrom against Sikh families and businessmen.

The duo has demanded that the ‘Bharat Ratan’ award be withdrawn posthumously from former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

H.S Phoolka asked how the award of ‘Bharat Ratan’ could be conferred to a Politician who justifies the massacre of innocent Sikhs in New Delhi. He added that the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi stated in Parliament on November 14, 1984 that 650 Sikhs were massacred in the genocide of November 1984; however Atal Bihari Vajpayee had presented a list of 2800 massacred Sikhs on November 17, 1984. He added that instead of punishing the culprits responsible for Sikh the genocide, Rajiv Gandhi rewarded them with posts of ministry.

The duo announced that a group would organize soon to make efforts for deliverance of justice to the victims of November, 1984.
