CHANDIGARH, Punjab—AAP MP from Fatehgarh Sahib Harinder Singh Khalsa, who was suspended from the party a few days ago, has stated that Patiala MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi and he have decided that they would not allow persons from Bihar and Utter Pardesh (UP) to take over politics of Punjab.

It may be recalled that along with Khalsa, Dr. Gandhi was also suspended from the party by the high command.

“For the safeguard of the interests of Punjab, we are ready to make any kind of political sacrifice”, he said while speaking with Sikh24 correspondent.

He alleged, “It seems that AAP national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal himself are conspiring with Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) to split the party in the state.”

“I follow the footsteps of Gopal Singh Khalsa who promoted Punjabis in united Punjab. I support the interests of Punjab and would never go against them. We put up our case before Punjabis wearing political shrouds on our heads”, he said, adding, “Kejriwal and those party leaders who are at the helm of the affairs and have forgotten to work for the interests of Punjab have been sold for money. Now, it is up to Punjabis to decide whether they are to support Kejriwal.”
