Punjab Chief Minister Seeks Inclusion of Anandpur-Talwandi-Nanded Road in National Highways

NEW DELHI—Chief Minister of Punjab, Parkash Badal met the Union Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari to appeal him to include 1786.12 km of Guru Gobind Singh road connecting Sri Anadpur Sahib-Sabo Ki Talwandi-Nanded in National highways. He also urged him to develop this road into four lanes. Chief Minsiter informed Gadkari that 1294.35 km of this pathway is already included in National highways.

Nitin Gadkari promised the Punjab Chief Minister that he will take his request up with the concerned authorities of other seven states in which this road passes through.  Chief Secretary Gagandeep Singh Brar, Additional Chief Secretary (PWD) N.S Kalsi and Member of National Highway authority India Sri Satish Chandra was also present on this occasion.
